Track:1 Nursing Practice:

The Nursing Practice requires specialized knowledge, skill, and independent decision making. There are about 3,60,000 professionally activated nurses in UAS, In San Antonio there are 3600 registered nurses regarding the statistics of 2015. This figure, however, is an underestimate of the NP workforce as the numbers do not include ACNPs from all Canadian jurisdictions. Until recently, in some provinces ACNPs have not been licensed, and therefore it is not currently possible to determine how many exist in USA. It is also difficult to ascertain the exact number of CNSs in USA because there is no protected titling or standard credentialing mechanism. Based on self-reported CNS data, the number of CNSs decreased between 2000 and 2008 from 2,624 to 2,222, accounting for about 1% of the USA nursing workforce (CIHI 2010; CNA 2006).

Why San Antonio?

San Antonio, formally the City of San Antonio, is the seventh-most crowded city in the United States and the second-most crowded city in both Texas and the Southern United States. Established as a Spanish mission and frontier station in 1718, the city turned into the main sanctioned common settlement in Texas in 1731, making it the state's most seasoned district. The city's profound history is appeared differently in relation to its quick development: it was the quickest developing of the main ten biggest urban communities in the United States from 2000 to 2010, and the second from 1990 to 2000. Straddling the provincial gap amongst South and Central Texas, San Antonio grapples the southwestern corner of a urban mega region casually known as the "Texas Triangle". San Antonio fills in as the seat of Bexar Province. Late additions have broadened the city's limits into Medina District and, however for just an extremely minor zone close to the city of Garden Edge, into Comal Area. Since San Antonio was established amid the Spanish Provincial Period, it has a congregation (San Fernando Church) in its middle, alongside a fundamental metro court going with it in front, a trademark which is additionally found in some other Spanish-established urban areas, towns, and towns in Spain and Latin America. Because of its position, the city has qualities of other western urban focuses in which there are meagerly populated zones and a low thickness rate outside of as far as possible. Why to Attend???

A nursing conference is an opportunity to meet others within specialty to network and to learn the latest clinical information. It is an opportunity no nurse should overlook. I’ve always embraced the opportunity to attend nursing conferences and have made a point to encourage others to attend whenever the opportunity arises. Nursing conferences allow nurses of all levels of experience to participate in an area of career and education growth that is not easily found within the structure of the workplace. Some nurses, especially those working at the bedside, may not see the significance of attending a conference. All too often the floor/ bedside nurse believes that conferences are only for management, while others may think that spending one or more days not earning a paycheck may not outweigh the opportunity to clock in some additional overtime. There may be a whole host of other reasons why a nurse would prefer to remain home rather than attending a conference.  Despite the plentiful excuses (the top two being cost and time), the benefits far outweigh the costs.
